The Earthquake in Chile
by Heinrich von Kleist
An evening by Christina Deinsberger, Moritz Gottwald and Laurenz Laufenberg
Following our intensive collaboration on »Michael Kohlhaas«, we are delighted to continue our focus on the world and language of Heinrich von Kleist with »The Earthquake in Chile«. What happens when everything suddenly and quite literally collapses? When the world as we know it shifts beneath our feet? What dangers reveal themselves? What opportunities open up? This powerful narrative follows Jeronimo and Josephe as they struggle to survive in a society and world out of joint where people fall back onto old beliefs with unpredictable violence.
