Streitraum: NSU – What do we know at the end of the trial?

Since May 2013, the Sixth Criminal Division of the Higher Regional Court in Munich has been hearing the case about the NSU murders. Five years on, what do we now know about the »National Socialist Underground«? What has come to light, and what remains hidden? What kind of picture of the right-wing extremist scene, their supporters and the failings of the investigating authorities is emerging from the trial and also from the work of the parliamentary enquiry? Which instruments of political, social and cultural education are required, above and beyond the legal ones, so that society can remember and reflect upon the history of the NSU in an appropriate manner?
