Welcome to the club! With consistent inconsistency, Patrick Wengenroth will be introducing the authors of current Schaubühne productions in his salon format. The way they think and feel, their lives and lies, their writing and every now and then, quite unintentionally, the truth. Together with members of the ensemble, selected guests, real experts and those who think they are, we’ll spend scintillating evenings looking at the work and madness of a particular author. True to Nietzsche’s concept of ›Fröhliche Wissenschaft‹ (›The Gay Science‹) we’ll do this as erratically, associatively, randomly, subjectively and carelessly as possible. And, of course, with Matze Kloppe on the keyboard.
