Here you will find an overview of frequently asked questions.
What do I need to log in and buy tickets?
You need your own e-mail address, and each partner also needs their own address for couple memberships.
Where can I find my membership number?
You will find your membership number in the letter you received by post after your registration.
Where do I log in?
At the top right of the Schaubühnen homepage there is the option »Webshop«. At the top centre of the webshop is »Login Freundeskreis«. Enter your e-mail and password from the webshop.
How do I change my password?
If you are already a customer in the webshop, use your previous password as usual.
You do not yet have a password or have forgotten your password? Then click on the »Login« tab at the top right of the webshop and request your password (»Forgot your password?«).
Please note: Do not register again! Even if you have never made a purchase in the webshop before: Your data record already exists. Registering again would only result in your address being duplicated and your purchase being cancelled.
How many tickets will I receive?
Friends receive 2 days before the official ticket sale, 2 tickets per person per production per season / Patrons receive 3 days before the official ticket sale, 2 tickets per person per performance.
Can I place ticket orders with you?
No, please direct your ticket requests/orders exclusively to the box office at ticket@schaubuehne or +49 30 890023 or order your tickets yourself in the webshop or in the Schaubühne app.
When will the programme be published?
The programme for the month after next always appears at the end of the current month on the website and the Schaubühnen app.
Example: The programme for May appears at the end of March.
When does the pre-sale start?
The official advance sale always starts on the 1st of the month, unless the 1st is a Sunday or public holiday. Advance sales for sponsors start 3 days before the official ticket sale, for friends 2 days before the start.
How do I find out about upcoming events?
A monthly newsletter, which provides information about the latest programme and planned events, is always sent out shortly before the start of advance sales.
How do I pay my membership fee?
You can have the contribution collected by SEPA direct debit mandate. To do so, simply return the completed direct debit mandate enclosed with your letter by post. Alternatively, you can also donate the membership fee. Please transfer the contribution by 31 March of the respective year.
Are membership fees calculated pro rata?
No, because your membership fee includes support for the Schaubühne for an entire calendar year, regardless of when you join the Friends.
Will I receive an invoice?
No. As membership fees are donations, we prefer not to send out invoices. We are happy to receive a separate transfer in the first quarter of the year. At the end of the year, you will receive a corresponding donation receipt for submission to the tax office.
How can I make a donation?
Voluntary (annual) donations are welcome. The association »Freunde der Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz e.V.« is recognised as a non-profit organisation and your contributions and donations are deductible.
Cancellation periods
You can cancel your membership at the end of the year. As you are also donating for a whole year with your membership fee, you will also receive all the benefits of membership until 31 December. If you no longer wish to receive news from the Circle of Friends and no longer wish to receive e-mails, please write to us at freunde@schaubuehne.de.
