Surtitles

For hearing impaired visitors, we offer German surtitles for selected performances, for blind and visually impaired visitors, we regularly offer performances with audio description. The performances are marked in our programme.

In addition, several surtitled performances in various languages are scheduled each month for our international audience.

We also offer surtitles for mobile devices for certain performances. You can choose from several languages and read them on your smartphone. The application is compatible with flight mode so that no calls or messages disturb the program. On the rental devices provided by the Schaubühne, the already minimal residual light is further reduced by protective foils. All information on using the mobile surtitles is available from our admission staff at the merchandise table in the long foyer.
