Die Fortsetzung der erfolgreichen Diskursreihe Streitraum ist nach der plötzlichen Absage der langjährigen Förderung durch die Bundeszentrale für Politische Bildung ungewiss. Die bereits für die kommende Spielzeit geplanten Ausgaben können ohne eine alternative Förderung nicht stattfinden. Eine kurzfristige Ersatzförderung ist aufgrund der langen Vergabefristen und der anhaltenden drastischen Kürzungen im Kulturbereich extrem schwierig.

On September 10, we’re bringing the Schaubühne and the Neue Nationalgalerie together: from 4 pm, Maurizio Cattelan will be signing posters in front of the Neue Nationalgalerie. The occasion is the opening of Maurizio Cattelan’s solo exhibition. As part of TOILETPAPER, Cattelan is also one of the artists behind this year’s season campaign. Afterwards, we’ll head to the Schaubühne together by bus. From 6 pm, we’ll present all the posters from this year’s TOILETPAPER campaign on the forecourt. At the poster sale, you can purchase your favourite designs. Artists and members of the ensemble will be there to sign the posters.

This season’s publicity campaign has been created by TOILETPAPER. Since 2010, Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan and photographer Pierpaolo Ferrari have been publishing the eponymous magazine which consists entirely of staged photographs. For the Schaubühne, they have put our ensemble centre stage, portraying each actor in a bespoke way. The backdrops and styling were realised by the Schaubühne’s production departments of set design, costumes, props and hair and makeup. You can find the pictures of the campaign in the season booklet of the Schaubühne (to be seen hier as PDF) and spread over the season as large billboards in the urban area of ​​Berlin.

We are pleased to present this booklet, offering an overview of the premieres and programme through February 2027. The season brochure is now available in the building and can also be read online here.
