Festival of International New Drama

From 30 March to 9 April, the 2017 Festival of International New Drama (FIND) is drawing together productions from internationally renowned theatre-makers under the collective title of »Democracy and Tragedy«. The works presented address the current state of democracy, its imperilment, repressed guilt and contradictions. You can find a first overview here, the entire programme will be published at the end of February.

»Beware of Pity« on demand

On 12 February, our production of Beware of Pity directed by Simon McBurney/Complicite was streamed live from the Barbican in London. You can watch the on demand version here until Sunday 26 February 11.59pm GMT. We'll also be showing Beware of Pity with English surtitles om 22 and 23 February in Berlin.

The 2nd half of the 16/17 season

The new season programme with all information on our premieres until July 2016 is now available at the Schaubühne. You can also download the pdf or read the digital version on issuu.

For our new campaign, the French photographer Brigitte Lacombe portrayed all our ensemble members. After Juergen Teller, Ute Mahler and Werner Mahler and Pari Dukovic, with Brigitte Lacombe we continue our collaboration with major contemporary photographers who shoot the ensemble of the Schaubühne.
